Dear Members of the Class of 1971,
On behalf of Old Nassau, I extend my warmest congratulations as your class celebrates its 55th Reunion. It is my pleasure to welcome you and your families back to campus to mark this milestone in your journey as Princetonians.
The University continues to offer a transcendent liberal arts education that enables talented students to explore ideas across academic disciplines and to encounter new interests. In and beyond the classroom, they learn to think critically, engage with different perspectives, and understand our increasingly interconnected world. Our faculty are renowned for their dedication to innovative teaching and for leading research that expands fundamental knowledge and advances practical approaches to societal challenges. Princeton’s campus community is defined by shared commitments to the standards of scholarly excellence, to respectful disagreement, and to personal integrity.
While celebrating your 55th Reunion, I hope you’ll reflect on your experience as a Tiger and on the many ways you help this special place continue to flourish. Thank you for honoring the traditions of our alma mater while embracing the creativity, innovation, and daring that are needed to excel in this moment and beyond. I am grateful for everything that you do for Princeton. Tiger cheers for the great Class of 1971!
With best wishes,
Sincerely,

Christopher L. Eisgruber
