TigerNet ID Information and Instructions

For the past decade, the Class of '71 has registered for major and off-year Reunions on the Class website. Beginning this year for our 51st, Princeton is requiring that classmates use the University's TigerNet service to register for Reunions. You will need a TigerNet user ID and password to register, which is different from the username and password you use to login to the Class website (although you could make them identical). Nearly 500 of you already have TigerNet IDs and passwords. However, it may be the case that you've forgotten one or the other. Have no fear! Below is all the information you will need to (1) obtain a TigerNet ID if you never had one, (2) retrieve your TigerNet ID if you forgot it, or (3) set a new password.

Class Associates (widows and widowers) and Honorary Classmates who aren't able to receive TIgerNet IDs will register for the Reunion through a different method.

Princeton's TigerNet system offers a number of services to alumni including a comprehensive directory of all alumni, provisioning of @alumni.princeton.edu email addresses and accounts, topical online discussion groups, Class Notes from the PAW, and more. If you've helped with Annual Giving campaigns and used TigerTracks or volunteered with the Alumni Schools Committee, you have used your TigerNet ID and password to access those systems.

If you are creating a new TigerNet ID, keep in mind the following requirements:

• Minimum of 2 characters and a maximum of 15
• First character should be alphabetic
• Remaining characters can be alphanumeric
• Following symbols may also be used in the IDs (must not be the first or last character of an ID): . _ + -  
• Cannot be an ID already in use

When creating a password, your selection must satisfy these conditions:

• contains at least 10 characters, and a maximum of 15 characters
• contains both upper and lower case characters
• contains at least one number
• contains at least one of the following characters: ~!@#$%^&*()_+={}[]|:;"<>,.?
• must not contain your first name, last name or ID

If you are using a passphrase, the following must be true:

• contains at least 15 characters consisting of letters and spaces
• contains at least 1 number OR 1 symbol
• must not contain your first name, last name or ID
