Howard Zien and Jack Hittson reported on the 46th reunion: "The Backyard BBQ was held again in Hamilton Courtyard on Friday with adjoining classes. It rained heavily Saturday morning. Then it cleared up, and we enjoyed a low-humidity, sunny day, which was great for the P-rade. The class lunch on Saturday was at West College patio, and all enjoyed the more spacious setting. Saturday’s class dinner took place in the Woodrow Wilson room at Prospect. Discussion focused on outreach to class associates. Scott Berg, Woodrow Wilson biographer and University Trustee, gave us an illuminating perspective on Woodrow Wilson. He also shared the trustees’ perspective on Princeton’s initiative to use the naming of campus buildings to recognize a more diverse population.” Scott was also featured on the PBS series The Great War, with commentary on Wilson’s role in all three segments.

Pictured at West College lunch above are Snow, P-rade marshal Chamberlain, Pflaumer, and McCarter. Also seen on campus were: Schankler, Bob Kemp, Henkelman, Sung, Sheldon, Good, Lowenstein, Lynch, Ollwerther, Elfers, Potts, Pike, Meadows, Slocum, Pitney, Tegarden, Usas, DiFedele, Walsh, Senchesak, Metzger, McGinnis, Corcoran, Mazo, Boyle, and Holoszyc.

Tom Culbertson celebrated the graduation of his son, Bruce ’17, who joined sister Colleen ’13 as third-generation Tiger grads. Jon Perel proudly watched his son, Michael ’17, become the third member of his family to graduate, following brother David ’12. Others?

CREW CATCHUP: Bill Elfers’ daughter Kate ’18 was coxswain on Ivy League champion women’s open rowing team, which also placed at the NCAAs. I attended the men’s IRA Nationals in Sacramento and saw the Class of 1971 shell donated by our freshman crew last year.
