You will be able to choose the Class activities you are attending, make payment for the Friday BBQ and the Saturday dinner, and indicate if you will be in town for a possible Thursday reception.
Our Class Honorary Members and Class Associates (widows and widowers) will need to register differently for their wristbands. Please email our Reunion Registration Chair, Alan Usas, at registration@princeton71.org and he will guide you through the process.
Note: If you add a guest after your initial registration as an alumnus, you will also need to update the Class registration for any Class events they are attending; see Part 1 above.
University Reunions Schedule and Information. The full schedule and information about entertainment and campus resources as it becomes available can be found here.
Housing. The University has only allocated us three beds (beds, not rooms) this year so on-campus rooms will likely not be available. If you have a health issue that can be mitigated by having an on-campus dorm room let me know and we can try to intercede with the University. If making hotel reservations (if you have not already done so), make sure to check the cancellation policy. We’ll post the university’s hotel shuttle information as soon as available.
50th Reunion Flower Shirts. Don't have your 1971 Custom 50th Reunion Flower Shirt? Need a new one? We still have a limited number of men’s shirts in sizes S, M, and 3XL but quite a few in all women’s sizes. Get yours for your lady, kids or grandkids before they sell out! You may purchase shirts for delivery at Reunions when you register in Part 1 above or visit the Class Store on the Class website princeton71.org to order and have your items shipped.
Alumni Golf Cart Rentals. The order form is now available: Tigernet.princeton.edu/golfcartrental2023. Note, carts ordered by April 20 are guaranteed. Cart orders after April 20 are based on availability. Golf cart rentals are available for Reunions attendees with mobility impairments. Due to a limited supply of golf carts, rentals are only available for senior alumni with mobility impairments and alumni with a medical condition or permanent disability. The University reserves the right to ask for a copy of a state-issued HC ID card, HC license plate or HC placard. If your need lies outside of these terms, the University provides campus shuttles that run continuously during Reunions, as well as a robust golf cart transport service for alumni and guests called Reunions Rover. The Reunions Rover carts are student driven and make continuous intra-campus loops with stops at headquarters sites and program locations during Reunions weekend.
Cost
4-seater cart rental for 3 days (Thursday-Sunday). Note, a required student or staff driver is provided for the P-rade - $625.00
3-passenger cart rental for the P-rade Only. Note a required student or staff driver is provided - $315.00. Classmates might consider sharing a cart.
Cancellation Policy. Entrance to the 52nd Reunion is FREE for members of the Class of 1971 and a guest, however the BBQ and Saturday class dinner have a charge. Since we need to give final numbers to our vendors soon, we encourage you to register now if you know your plans. Most importantly, once we give our final head count to food services in May, there are no refunds. The registration and cancellation deadline for the BBQ and Class dinner is May 17.
Take a Bus? Reduce your carbon footprint! The Class of 2018 is organizing Reunions buses for all alumni and their guests to Princeton (and back) from Boston; Washington, D.C. with a potential stop in Philadelphia; and other cities in the Northeast, as requested. Reserve your seat by April 20 at the form here.
Questions. You can find additional information about the 1971's 52nd Reunion including the preliminary schedule of events on our Class website princeton71.org. For general inquiries about the Reunion, please contact Jeff Hammond, Reunion Chair, at reunions@princeton71.org. If you encounter any difficulty with either of the two registrations, please contact Alan Usas, Reunion Registration Chair, at registration@princeton71.org.
I’m looking forward to seeing many of you on campus this May.
Roaringly,

Jeff Hammond '71
